    This action-packed 4-day camp focused on building racket control, footwork, serving, and rallying through fun drills and games will build hand-eye coordination and agility. Skills progress at each age level, helping athletes improve accuracy and consistency. Campers should wear athletic clothes, sneakers, and bring a water bottle.

    ***No Baseball June 30 - July 2*** Through a variety of technical drill work, repetition of fundamentals, and positional skill building, players will refine the basics of hitting, throwing, running, and fielding, while developing abilities, strategies, and the experience necessary for future recreational play or competitive travel participation. This program includes coach pitch, player pitch, and the pitching machine. Tentative activities include a water and picture day, and a pitch, hit, and run competition.     Learn to roller skate or improve your roller skating skills. Two retired roller derby skaters will teach you skating stance, stride, stops and turns, then incorporate these skills into fun skating games. This class is tailored toward beginner and intermediate level skaters.Skills can be advanced or simplified to accommodate varying abilities. Helmets are required. We highly encourage knee pads and wrist guards. Limited pads and guards available for those without them.

    This summer is the perfect time to try something bold. Supportive and skilled staff from Northfield's Northside Boards will instruct and work with your child to learn parts of the board, the physics of skateboarding, the basics of how to ride and stop, and simple tricks. Skateboards will be provided, but you may bring your own. You must wear a helmet. Shoulder and knee pads are optional.
  • Beginner/Intermediate Scootering

    This exciting class will engage your child in the beginner skills essential for the sport of scootering. We teach the importance of safety while scootering at home and the park; general maintenance; ramp skills; and will also introduce some beginner tricks, such as the bunny hop, tail whips, and manuals/wheelies. This is a great opportunity for your child to develop skills and participate in one of the fastest-growing youth activities of our time. Join us this spring and summer to learn about the exciting sport of scootering. Helmets are required, and knee pads encouraged.

Knowledgeable staff from Northfield's Northside Boards will instruct and work with your child to learn parts of the board, the physics of skateboarding, the basics of how to ride and stop, and simple tricks. You will concentrate on shooting, footwork, and ball handling skills development. You will also be learning team fundamentals and applying in competitive game play. Registration also includes an opportunity to attend open gyms. 6/14, 6/21, 6/28, 7/12, 7/19, 7/26, 5:30 - 7 pm NHS Varsity High School Basketball Camp (entering grades 11&12 - invite only for younger grades): Receive instructional sessions from the high school boys basketball coaching staff and players. You will concentrate on shooting, footwork, and ball handling skills development. You will also be learning team fundamentals and applying in competitive game play. Access to open gyms on Sundays.     Challenger Sports is the leading soccer camp company in North America and our International Soccer Camp is where we channel our energy and passion for the game into a fun, yet developmental environment. The camp incorporates the best coaching methodologies from around the world, and brings them to players across all of North America, including Northfield! This is more than just a soccer camp; a cultural, educational, and informational program that uses soccer to teach core values of responsibility, integrity, respect, sportsmanship, and leadership. Campers will receive a free soccer ball, jersey, and certificate. Bring soccer cleats, shin guards, water, snacks, and if on the full day, bring a packed lunch.
  • Champion Force - Intro to Cheerleading

    We offer a fun and exciting cheer program for beginner, intermediate, and advanced level students. We focus on the fundamentals of cheers, chants, jumps, stunts, and dance routines. Each class learns at least one full routine and will showcase their skills for parents and at competitions. Classes are available for all ages, and no experience is necessary for Recreation Levels. Champion Force Athletics is dedicated to empowering all kids with strength, confidence, and self-esteem. All classes are taught by certified coaches.

    Future Cheerleaders...Come and learn about the fun, positive and energetic sport of cheerleading! The Northfield High School Raider Football Cheer team and its head coach will help you learn the basics of cheerleading, and will teach you different cheers, dances and jumps that are done while rooting on our Northfield Raiders. Come and join the fun! To secure a spot and a t-shirt and poms, register on or before the deadline of July 24. Please indicate shirt size when registering. Bring a water bottle, lunch, and snacks.
  • Coach K's Skills Camp

    Get in the gym with Coach K (McKenzie Foley, girls basketball coach) to work on ball handling, footwork, form shooting, and moves around the rim. We will dedicate 30 minutes to working on handles and getting to the rim. The remainder of the time will mix between shooting footwork, form shooting, and 1V1. Put in the work, build your confidence, and have fun!
  • Eagle Bluff

    The Eagle Bluff overnight program offers engaging classes in an outdoor setting. This three-day experience promotes learning in a manner that dovetails academic and social needs. The trip to Eagle Bluff will foster a sense of respect for the community, provide positive outdoor experiences, impart life skills such as teamwork and problem solving, increase environmental awareness and science literacy, and spark an interest in and appreciation for the natural world. For the Summer 2026 trip, the bus will leave by 8:30am on Monday, July 20, from the Northfield Middle School and will return at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. Here is the link to the packing list. Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis until the trip is full. Scholarships are available. Parent meeting scheduled for Thursday, June 4, 2026, 6:30-7:30 p.m., Northfield Middle School Flex Lab.
  • Fall Football Sideline Cheer

    Come cheer on your 2026 NHS Raiders Football team! Open to all 8th to 12th graders. We will have a Informational meeting on April 2 (Thursday) from 3:30- 4:30 in the high school cafe. We will have our first practice MONDAY JULY 20 from 5 to 7pm at the high school. NOTE- Cheer practices are Mondays 5 to 7pm and Thursdays 3:30- 5:30pm and we cheer ALL football games throughout fall season which can go through end of November. - Register by August 3rd to cheer for fall. - Uniforms need to be ordered within the first week of practice, from Varsity. The price is $240-$285, depending on whether you purchase the maroon and black under armor that goes with it. You may use a long sleeve v neck maroon/black shirt instead. Coach Laurie will email you the uniform link once you register, and will explain how to enter the size info. Once sizes are entered, Laurie will email you another link for collecting the uniform fee. After you purchase the uniform, you may use it for any season you cheer for (fall and winter). If you need to purchase a uniform after the deadline, you still can, it just won't be available for the first few games, however we do have uniforms that you can borrow (different design), until yours arrives. - You will need "white cheer shoes" that can be purchased on Varsity, Amazon, Omni Cheer, Cheerzone etc. You don't need to buy new white cheer shoes if you already have them. - You will also need to purchase a warm up jacket (dont need to if you have one from a previous year).- You may purchase pom poms from Varsity as your ordering the uniform IF you want but you don't have to. We do have ones you can use for the season and give back.     If you love Raider football and can see yourself on the team in the future, you don't want to miss this camp. Skills taught include drill work, passing, catching, stance, alignment, and Northfield Raider offense and defense schemes. Players must bring football shoes, shorts or sweats, t-shirt, and mouth guard. A camp t-shirt to wear over shoulder pads will also be provided. Coaches will hand out equipment on August 4th at the Northfield Middle School shed at 9:30 am. Players may use the equipment issued at camp for school football in the fall.$1 of the registration fee goes toward the rental of the helmet and shoulder pads.
