Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days. Kid Ventures is currently WAITLIST ONLY.

Gift Certificates from Northfield Community Education can be used for early childhood, youth enrichment and recreation AND adult enrichment and recreation classes.
The quest for adventure and learning a lifetime sport, begins with our Summit Ski Lessons! Our veteran instructors have been teaching the basics and art of skiing for decades, and will share their expertise with your child. Beginner and advanced options are available to suit the ability level of every skier. Beginners will focus on stopping, turning, getting on and off a char lift, and will learn general safety. Your advanced student will become a stronger, more confident skier through balance and carving drills, and will work toward mastery of specific skills of interest. This is a one-of-a-kind experience your child will thrive in and enjoy. You may choose the 4-week beginner course (first 4-weeks of instruction & second 4-weeks of free skiing), the 4-week advanced course (first 4-weeks of free skiing & second 4 weeks of instruction), or all eight weeks of progressive instruction.

The Northfield Ski Club will run on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day (1/15), President's Day (2/19), and 1/22 when there is no school. Drop participants in their respective busing area between 2:50 - 3 pm.

- 4X ADVANCED INSTRUCTION (2 hours per night) / 4X OPEN SKI (including transportation): #1358-W24ADV $320 - Instructional dates: Feb. 5, 12, 19, 26 (advanced athletes must be able to turn, stop, and be comfortable skiing a blue)

STEP 2 Purchase the Night Club Pass. All Summit lesson participants must obtain a Welch Village pass (night or unlimited), purchased directly from Welch. Once registered through Community Ed, you will receive a link in your confirmation email on how to purchase the discounted Night Club Pass. The Night Club Pass (after 3 pm everyday) = $219 + tax. There is no pass price correction if purchased outside of the club discount.
