ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Early Childhood Screening is FREE and provides general information about your child's growth and development, identify possible health or learning concerns, and connect you with community resources and programs
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days. Kid Ventures is currently WAITLIST ONLY.

Gift Certificates from Northfield Community Education can be used for early childhood, youth enrichment and recreation AND adult enrichment and recreation classes.
Have you ever felt like you needed more support and education for diabetes management outside of the two hours your insurance will cover every year? This is the class for you! This is not your typical diabetes education-you will learn how to manage your diabetes from a functional and integrated approach. You will understand what is happening in your body and how YOU can impact the function of your body at the cellular level resulting in optimal diabetes management, weight loss, possible medication reduction, better energy, and overall better health! You will receive realistic tips and education that are appropriate for anyone including those that may be struggling physically or with food choices. Each class is one hour every week and knowledge building on the previous class. I look forward to supporting you on your journey to your healthiest life!
