ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Early Childhood Screening is FREE and provides general information about your child's growth and development, identify possible health or learning concerns, and connect you with community resources and programs
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days. Kid Ventures is currently WAITLIST ONLY.

Gift Certificates from Northfield Community Education can be used for early childhood, youth enrichment and recreation AND adult enrichment and recreation classes.
Does your child like to run? Join US Olympic Trials qualifier and 3x Big 9 Coach of the Year, Nichole Porath, and the NHS Girls Cross Country team at a new cross country running camp in Northfield. Your child will do a variety of running activities including trail running, games, endurance runs, water games, a scavenger hunt, and relays. The camp culminates with the option to run in the Raiders' community run/alumni meet on Saturday, August 17th at the Carleton Arboretum. Your child might get tired, but they WILL have fun!
