ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Early Childhood Screening is FREE and provides general information about your child's growth and development, identify possible health or learning concerns, and connect you with community resources and programs
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days. Kid Ventures is currently WAITLIST ONLY.

Classes for students in K-5

Refresh or gain the skills and certification necessary to apply first aid, administer CPR, use and AED, and perform lifesaving techniques.
Gift Certificates from Northfield Community Education can be used for early childhood, youth enrichment and recreation AND adult enrichment and recreation classes.
Kickball is all about the FUN! You will kick, catch, throw and dodge an 8" playground ball, meaning that anyone can join in and have a great time.
Dodgeball: Played with soft nerf balls, this is a playground favorite. Variations include: Trench ball, Bombardment, Dodge Football, Ga-Ga ball, and Mushrooms and Aliens. Campers will be divided by age and skill level. Staff to camper ratio 10:1. Participants will receive a Sports Unlimited water bottle.
Please bring sunscreen, water bottle, snack, and appropriate dress.
