ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Early Childhood Screening is FREE and provides general information about your child's growth and development, identify possible health or learning concerns, and connect you with community resources and programs
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days. Kid Ventures is currently WAITLIST ONLY.

Gift Certificates from Northfield Community Education can be used for early childhood, youth enrichment and recreation AND adult enrichment and recreation classes.
"Camp GOTR 2024 combines all the best of the Girls on the Run program with all the fun of camp! Girls will have fun exploring friendships with activities designed to discover what makes a good friend, and how to be a good friend to others. Girls will build, create, write, discuss, connect, and laugh all while participating in games and activities that will leave them feeling confident and appreciated by their teammates. All abilities and backgrounds are welcome. Generous financial aid is available, and space is limited so register early through Girls on the Run only (https://www.gotrmn.org/camp-program-details). The cost of Camp GOTR includes a t-shirt, bag, water bottle, curriculum and activity sheets, field trip, and more!" Do not register through Community Ed.
