ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Early Childhood Screening is FREE and provides general information about your child's growth and development, identify possible health or learning concerns, and connect you with community resources and programs
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days. Kid Ventures is currently WAITLIST ONLY.

Join Northfield's Agriculture,Food and Natural Resources (AFNR) Outreach Program! This is open to 7th-12th graders in Northfield interested in agriculture, food and natural resources. The class develops leadership skills and personal growth through experiential learning opportunities. Students who participate in the Monday evening agriculture class can also join FFA. The class is held once per month on the third Monday of every month (4th Monday in January and February) from 6:30-8:30 p.m. during the school year. Location varies depending on the monthly class subject. The end of year banquet will be held on May 22, 2025 at NHS.
