ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.

Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days. Kid Ventures is currently WAITLIST ONLY.

Embark on an exciting new adventure in Spanish with this continuation of the Fall 2024 Spanish Year 1 course! Perfect for students who are just beginning their language journey, this class will immerse you in the vibrant world of Spanish. You’ll focus on mastering the present tense, empowering you to express yourself confidently in everyday conversations.
Through engaging activities, interactive games, and cultural explorations, you’ll build a solid foundation of vocabulary and grammar while discovering the richness of Spanish-speaking cultures. Whether you're sharing your interests, making new friends, or exploring the nuances of the language, this course promises a fun and dynamic learning experience. Get ready to unlock the power of communication and dive into the world of Spanish! This course is customized for students who have never taken Spanish before. Students will be using the Realidades 1 text. A printable workbook and answer key will be provided via email. A textbook will be available for $20, or students can order one on-line. Your Spanish journey will be led by instructor Chris Kauffeld, who completed coursework for his M.A. in Spanish in Santiago de Compostela, Spain and taught English for two years in Zaragoza, Spain.
