ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Early Childhood Screening is FREE and provides general information about your child's growth and development, identify possible health or learning concerns, and connect you with community resources and programs
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days. Kid Ventures is currently WAITLIST ONLY.

Project ABLE bowling is now just $4/week thanks to generous funding from the Rice County United Way!
With this fun bowling league, you can develop motor skills and increase hand-eye coordination while practicing socialization skills. Everyone is welcome to register, no matter their skill level. Two games are included per night, as well as shoes if necessary. Pre-registration is required. Whether you want to join us for a few weeks or the entire session, you are welcome to bowl with us.
