ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Early Childhood Screening is FREE and provides general information about your child's growth and development, identify possible health or learning concerns, and connect you with community resources and programs
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days. Kid Ventures is currently WAITLIST ONLY.

Refresh or gain the skills and certification necessary to apply first aid, administer CPR, use and AED, and perform lifesaving techniques.
This exciting class will engage your child in the beginner skills essential for the sport of scootering. We teach the importance of safety while scootering at home and the park; general maintenance; ramp skills; and will also introduce some beginner tricks, such as the bunny hop; tail whips; and manuals/wheelies. This is a great opportunity for your child to develop skills and participate in one of the fastest-growing youth activities of our time. Join us this spring and summer to learn about the exciting sport of scootering. Helmets are required, and knee pads encouraged.
