ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Early Childhood Screening is FREE and provides general information about your child's growth and development, identify possible health or learning concerns, and connect you with community resources and programs
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days. Kid Ventures is currently WAITLIST ONLY.

Convert your outdoor playing skills to the court in our new futsal program. Futsal is an indoor variant of soccer, emphasizing quick passes, tight ball control, and creative play in close quarters. Join other futsal enthusiasts for fun, high-energy games on Sunday evenings throughout the school-year. Boost your fitness levels; develop your agility and technical skills; connect with friends; and explore this exciting activity! Players must bring appropriate gear (indoor soccer shoes recommended). Open to both girls and boys players. Register for the full session @$55, or drop-in for $3/time.
