Classroom and Behind the Wheel training for students ages 15-18.
ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Early Childhood Screening is FREE and provides general information about your child's growth and development, identify possible health or learning concerns, and connect you with community resources and programs
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days. Kid Ventures is currently WAITLIST ONLY.
Summer PLUS is a summer academic program for students who have been specially invited and referred based on one or more of the following state and district criteria: academic performance, attendance, mental health or English learner status.

Ready to hack into the code of your favorite classic games? This is your chance to dive into the world of coding by modifying iconic games like Asteroids, Tetris, and more! Whether you’re a beginner or already know your way around a keyboard, this class is packed with excitement for everyone. You’ll learn Java programming skills while tweaking the code of these legendary games and making them your own.
This class is a favorite among both our staff and students because it’s fun, hands-on, and full of creative possibilities. If you’ve ever wanted to build or break a game, this is the class for you! All you need are basic keyboarding skills and a flash drive to save your work. (Don’t forget your lunch and a drink!)
