Classroom and Behind the Wheel training for students ages 15-18.
ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Early Childhood Screening is FREE and provides general information about your child's growth and development, identify possible health or learning concerns, and connect you with community resources and programs
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days. Kid Ventures is currently WAITLIST ONLY.
Summer PLUS is a summer academic program for students who have been specially invited and referred based on one or more of the following state and district criteria: academic performance, attendance, mental health or English learner status.

Don’t just *play* games—**create** them! In this action-packed course, you’ll step into the world of game development and bring your favorite Star Wars universe to life using **Scratch**. Whether you're a Jedi or a Sith, this course will have you designing your own Star Wars-themed games and animations! Students will follow easy-to-follow, step-by-step tutorials to create 2-3 fully functional games and animations using iconic Star Wars sprites. But the real fun begins when you get the chance to take what you’ve learned and customize or improve your games. Bring a USB drive to save your epic creations—and don’t forget your lunch and a drink to keep your energy high. By the end of the course, you’ll not only have a new understanding of coding and game design but also your own galaxy of Star Wars games to show off! *Registration deadline is August 1. This class must meet a minimum enrollment to run. Please register early to maintain the class schedule.
