BLAST: Middle School referred Summer Program
Classroom and Behind the Wheel training for students ages 15-18.
ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Early Childhood Screening is FREE and provides general information about your child's growth and development, identify possible health or learning concerns, and connect you with community resources and programs
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.
Summer PLUS is a summer academic program for students who have been specially invited and referred based on one or more of the following state and district criteria: academic performance, attendance, mental health or English learner status.

Have you considered not walking your dog anymore because it is so difficult to control them? Do they bark, lunge and growl at other dogs they meet? You are not alone! What you have is a reactive dog. In this class, you will learn how to take your dog from nearly breaking their leash at the sight of another pooch to calmly looking back at you. These are intensive classes that require you do your homework during the week, but they deliver results!
Please note that Reactive Dog Training will meet from 5-7pm for the first meeting and will be OWNER'S ONLY.
Handling a reactive dog can be stressful, handling a reactive dog in a room filled with other reactive dogs can be that much more challenging. Because of this, our first class will be dog free. We will spend the first session learning about the teams and the challenges they face, talking about the class set up and learning the theory behind modifying behaviors.
Please bring a 6 ft leash, plenty of soft treats, and baggies to clean up after your dog if needed. No extending (flexi) leashes please. Please indicate your dog's name, age and breed when registering and ensure all necessary dog vaccinations are current. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
