ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Early Childhood Screening is FREE and provides general information about your child's growth and development, identify possible health or learning concerns, and connect you with community resources and programs
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Explore, Learn & Grow – Classes for K–12 Students

Ready to rev up your driving skills? Register for both the classroom and Behind-the-Wheel lessons together and enjoy 10% off!
Start by selecting the classroom section that fits your schedule best. Once your student completes Phase 1, they’ll earn a blue card—an essential step to applying for their instruction permit.
Once your student has had their permit for 6 months, simply reach out to us to schedule driving appointments with our expert Behind-the-Wheel instructor as their road test approaches. Email Marianne at mmoser@northfieldschools.org or give her a call at 507.664.3648 to find dates and times that work for you.
Once they finish the Behind-the-Wheel instruction, students will receive a Certificate of Completion Card—your ticket to applying for a driver’s license. Let’s get cruising toward that goal!
Cost for replacement of lost or damaged cards is $10.
Please note: If you fail to attend the driving appointment you are registered for or cancel your appointment on the same day (within 12 hours)
