ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Early Childhood Screening is FREE and provides general information about your child's growth and development, identify possible health or learning concerns, and connect you with community resources and programs
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.
Summer PLUS is a summer academic program for students who have been specially invited and referred based on one or more of the following state and district criteria: academic performance, attendance, mental health or English learner status.

Community Education is bringing NinjaAnywhere to the First Responder Community Picnic at Spring Creek Park on Monday, July 28th from 5 - 8 pm! The NinjaAnywhere rig features a warped wall, floating boards, trapeze bars, climbing ropes, and more! Take on a giant inflatable slide and obstacle course for nonstop fun, then master balance challenges like quad steps, rolling pipes, and teeter totters. This Ninja experience is packed with inclusive movement opportunities for all ages and ability levels. Get ready to be Northfield’s first true ninjas!
