Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Pickleball is an activity that people of all ages can enjoy! Experiment with the general techniques and maneuvers of pickleball, or play an informal or competitive game. Pickleball is played on a badminton sized court with a net height of 34 - 36 inches, and is played with a perforated plastic ball (similar to a whiffle ball) and wood or composite paddle. The activity resembles a cross between badminton, tennis, and ping pong. Come alone or bring a partner; there is always someone to play. Pickleball paddles and balls are provided.
Wednesday @ Bridgewater: Rules and instructions will be provided on handouts the first night of play. Register for the full session, or drop-in for $5/night.
Sunday @ High School: Veteran pickleball players will be present to work with beginners, or anyone wanting more instruction on the game of pickleball. The program is free due to a collaboration with Age Friendly Northfield, and their financial support!
