Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Once upon a time... we put on a show! Welcome to Storybook Theatre, where we take classic stories and put a fun twist on them, and then you get to act them out! Do you love acting, singing, and dancing? Then Storybook Theatre will surely be a great fit for you! In just one week we'll put together a whole musical, and you get to be one of the stars! Come have a wondrous week with Storybook Theatre! Our Spring 2026 show is TWICE UPON A TIME! Practice times are 4-8:15pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Tuesday's practices will be 4-6pm or 6:15-8:15pm depending on role. Friday, report at 3:30pm for the 7pm show. Saturday, report at 11am for the NOON show.
PERFORMANCES: FRIDAY, April 17, 7PM | SATURDAY, April 18, NOON.
More details will be sent home after the first practice, and depending on your student's role, practice times may be adjusted. Be sure to send your student with a water bottle and dinner or hearty snack each day.
