ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.

Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Explore, Learn & Grow – Classes for K–12 Students
Basketball, Flag Football, Tennis, Soccer, Lacrosse, Skating and more for students Pre-K to 12th grade.
Refresh or gain the skills and certification necessary to apply first aid, administer CPR, use and AED, and perform lifesaving techniques.
Classes for Middle and High School students.
Create a set of 25 handmade cards – five cards in each of five different themes (such as birthday, thank you, sympathy, masculine, blank, or more). All supplies will be cut, packaged, and ready for you to stamp and assemble. Materials, envelopes, stamps, inks, and tools are included. Each session includes different themes to choose from.
Please bring your own adhesive (double-stick tape, glue stick, or tape runner). These are available at any craft store or can be purchased from the instructor during class.
Please note: to allow time for the instructor to prepare materials, kindly register before Thursday, March 12, 2026 for the March 19 class and Thursday, May 7 for the May 14 class.
