Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Explore, Learn & Grow – Classes for K–12 Students

Refresh or gain the skills and certification necessary to apply first aid, administer CPR, use and AED, and perform lifesaving techniques.
Classes for Middle and High School students.
In this class, students will learn how to grow a garden indoors using only water without using dirt. This growing method is called hydroponic growing. Indoor growing allows you to grow food organically without the use of pesticides. Students will learn how to grow food all year round. Once students will learn the basics of hydroponic, they will plant their first Microgreen plant. After class, students will take home their creation! Supply fee is included in the price of the class.
