ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.

Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

ServSafe Manager Certification is a nationally recognized food safety certification for restaurant managers, supervisors, and other foodservice leaders. It is issued by the National Restaurant Association (NRA) and is one of the most widely accepted food protection manager certifications in the United States.
The program ensures managers have the knowledge to protect the public from foodborne illness and keep operations in compliance with local health codes. This certification will provide employees with the opportunity to take the ServSafe training, including the exam, equipping them with industry-recognized credentials in food safety.
The training will consist of eight hours of instruction and 2 hours for the exam. Benefits of attending the training include, but are not limited to:
The training is available for $195, which includes the training, exam, and materials. The cost breakdown is as follows:
Breakfast and lunch will not be provided and are the responsibility of the participant.
Northfield Students must pay for their own exam and answer sheet; however, district/staff development and/or Perkins funds may be used to pay for the coursebook (to be used in teaching of ServSafe to students) and additional materials.
