ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Early Childhood Screening is FREE and provides general information about your child's growth and development, identify possible health or learning concerns, and connect you with community resources and programs
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Looking for a fun, memorable theater experience? Join this creative, positive program filled with drama games, activities and theater-based teaching! Drama Lab exists to give students a place to belong, feel accepted and be more confident. You'll play games, laugh, create stories and explore the wide world of imagination. Anything is possible and no game ever ends the same way. Each season has all-new activities, so even if you've taken this class before, register again for more drama fun!
Please note: There is no student supervision from the time school is released until the start of class at 4pm. The class time is set to allow the instructor to commute and to accommodate students from all Northfield elementary schools. If you arrive early, you are welcome to wait with your student. Students may not be dropped off without a parent or guardian present until class begins at 4pm. Thank you for your understanding.
