ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Screening is free and includes a quick check your child's health and development. Screening is completed by an Early Childhood Professional and is tailored for your child's age, there is no pass or fail!
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Explore, Learn & Grow – Classes for K–12 Students
Basketball, Flag Football, Tennis, Soccer, Lacrosse, Skating and more for students Pre-K to 12th grade.
Refresh or gain the skills and certification necessary to apply first aid, administer CPR, use and AED, and perform lifesaving techniques.
Classes for Middle and High School students.
Due to district priority scheduling and recent calendar changes, your child's Golf Squad start date has been adjusted. Instead of starting on 4/7, the program will begin on 4/14. 5/5 has been added to the schedule in place of 4/7.
Golf Squad is an afterschool program connecting local Golf Professionals to your school for a once-a-week lesson. Golf Squad Professionals focus on teaching the fundamentals of the game including putting, chipping, full swing irons, and full swing woods. Participants will also learn relationship building, proper etiquette, rules of the game, and valuable life lessons, aiding in their development. Students will receive a book and a hat. Meet in the gym for the start of each class. Please note the date change for the middle school golf program. 2/24 has been moved to 3/3.
