ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Early Childhood Screening is FREE and provides general information about your child's growth and development, identify possible health or learning concerns, and connect you with community resources and programs
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Explore, Learn & Grow – Classes for K–12 Students
Basketball, Flag Football, Tennis, Soccer, Lacrosse, Skating and more for students Pre-K to 12th grade.
Refresh or gain the skills and certification necessary to apply first aid, administer CPR, use and AED, and perform lifesaving techniques.
Classes for Middle and High School students.
Improve aspects of your game in a one-on-one or group setting. $54/individual, $45/person for a group up to 5, $36/person for a group of 6 or more.

There is no recommended number of lessons or schedule of lessons. Every person may choose the number of lessons desired and a schedule that works best to meet each specific need. Some families feel that 3 lessons max are sufficient, while others spend an entire year taking private lessons. If in doubt, schedule one or two lessons with Darrell and talk with him about what the goals are for the child/adult. His opinion may be beneficial to how you'd like to structure private lessons.
Please cancel within 24 hours to receive a refund, or to be given the opportunity to reschedule. If extenuating circumstances occur, and you cannot make it to your scheduled lessons, please call Darrell at least 3 hours before your lesson (phone number in confirmation email). No shows will result in a forfeit of the lesson cost.
