ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Screening is free and includes a quick check your child's health and development. Screening is completed by an Early Childhood Professional and is tailored for your child's age, there is no pass or fail!
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Explore, Learn & Grow – Classes for K–12 Students
Basketball, Flag Football, Tennis, Soccer, Lacrosse, Skating and more for students Pre-K to 12th grade.
Refresh or gain the skills and certification necessary to apply first aid, administer CPR, use and AED, and perform lifesaving techniques.
Students will design, build, and test exciting chain-reaction machines using ramps, levers, pulleys, and recycled materials—completely screen-free! Through hands-on experimentation, they’ll explore engineering concepts, cause-and-effect relationships, and creative problem-solving. Working in teams, students will collaborate, troubleshoot, and refine their designs to create impressive multi-step reactions. This high-energy class is perfect for curious builders and future engineers who love to tinker, invent, and see their ideas come to life!
A minimum enrollment is required for this class. Please register at least 7 days before the start date (June 18) to help ensure the class runs.
