ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Screening is free and includes a quick check your child's health and development. Screening is completed by an Early Childhood Professional and is tailored for your child's age, there is no pass or fail!
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Explore, Learn & Grow – Classes for K–12 Students

Refresh or gain the skills and certification necessary to apply first aid, administer CPR, use and AED, and perform lifesaving techniques.
Classes for Middle and High School students.
Have you considered not walking your dog anymore because it is so difficult to control them? Do they bark, lunge and growl at other dogs they meet? You are not alone! What you have is a reactive dog. In this class, you will learn how to take your dog from nearly breaking their leash at the sight of another pooch to calmly looking back at you. These are intensive classes that require you do your homework during the week, but they deliver results! For the first day of class only, we will meet dog-free to enable an owner question and answer opportunity. For the remaining 5 class meetings your dog will attend with you.
