Learn the fundamentals of mindfulness meditation and how to integrate them into your life. Meditation is a valuable way to calm the mind and gain insight into your direct experience. While it can help with problems like insomnia or anxiety, its most significant benefits are intangible and reveal themselves over time with steady practice. The class meets on Mondays and Thursdays for an hour and typically consists of a brief talk, a 20-30 minute guided meditation, and time for discussion and Q&A. The techniques and themes vary from week to week, but we will always circle back to what we have learned in previous classes to deepen our practice. Adults of any age or experience level are welcome.
