ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Screening is free and includes a quick check your child's health and development. Screening is completed by an Early Childhood Professional and is tailored for your child's age, there is no pass or fail!
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Explore, Learn & Grow – Classes for K–12 Students
Basketball, Flag Football, Tennis, Soccer, Lacrosse, Skating and more for students Pre-K to 12th grade.
Refresh or gain the skills and certification necessary to apply first aid, administer CPR, use and AED, and perform lifesaving techniques.
Join Dakota County 4-H for a performing arts experience like no other. Arts-In is a summertime program for youth in 3rd -12th grade. Participants develop and learn a fun 20-minute original musical with singing, choreography, and acting. Casting and encampment located at 4100 220th St. W. in Farmington. Must be available for all rehearsals and performances. Show is performed at the Dakota County Fair, August 14 - 16. Participants will be registered in 4-H, for liability purposes, with no other fees or commitments beyond this program. Contact Kris Vatter at kvatter@umn.edu with questions.
Casting: July 9, 6-7:30 p.m.
Encampment: July 20-24, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (ice breakers, singing, dancing, group time)
Rehearsals: August 9, and 13 in the evening.
Show Dates: August 14, 15, and 16 (1-2 shows per date). The 14th and 15th is in the evening and the Sunday shows are in the afternoon. Please note fairgrounds admission is free, but there is a daily parking fee. Parking on city side streets is free.
Camp fee includes lunch and snacks (we make accommodations for dietary restrictions) during encampment plus show t-shirt
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: JUNE 20. Registrants must be available for all rehearsals and performances.
