ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Screening is free and includes a quick check your child's health and development. Screening is completed by an Early Childhood Professional and is tailored for your child's age, there is no pass or fail!
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Explore, Learn & Grow – Classes for K–12 Students
Basketball, Flag Football, Tennis, Soccer, Lacrosse, Skating and more for students Pre-K to 12th grade.
Refresh or gain the skills and certification necessary to apply first aid, administer CPR, use and AED, and perform lifesaving techniques.
In this class, participants will create 25 cards:
All Occasion Cards class includes: five cards of five different design/themes – some could be birthday, thank you, sympathy, masculine, blank or more.
Holiday Cards class includes: five cards of five different designed specifically for the holiday season.
All materials will be cut, packaged and ready students to stamp and assemble. Materials, envelopes, stamps, inks and any tools needed to create cards will be provided.
Please bring your own adhesive (double-stick tape, glue stick, or tape runner). These are available at any craft store or can be purchased from the instructor during class.
Please note: to allow time for the instructor to prepare materials, kindly register 1 full week before the class date.
