ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Screening is free and includes a quick check your child's health and development. Screening is completed by an Early Childhood Professional and is tailored for your child's age, there is no pass or fail!
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Celebrate the season with a festive collection of creative drawing projects! In this session, students continue developing their artistic skills while creating bold and imaginative artwork inspired by animals, objects, and holiday themes. Artists will begin with colorful cake pops, focusing on proportion and texture. A powerful monster truck drawing introduces perspective and bold line work, while a beautifully patterned elephant helps students explore shape, balance, and color. Holiday-inspired drawings such as a cheerful holiday puppy and a festive bunny with a present add a playful seasonal touch while reinforcing strong drawing techniques.
