ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Screening is free and includes a quick check your child's health and development. Screening is completed by an Early Childhood Professional and is tailored for your child's age, there is no pass or fail!
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Learn Spanish in a welcoming, beginner-friendly environment! Spanish 1 is designed for students with little or no previous Spanish experience. Students will build a foundation in conversational Spanish while learning basic grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary related to everyday life, family, food, activities, and celebrations. Instruction will use the Realidades 1 text and include speaking, listening, reading, and interactive activities.

About the instructor:
Your Spanish journey will be led by instructor Chris Kauffeld, who completed coursework for his M.A. in Spanish in Santiago de Compostela, Spain and taught English for two years in Zaragoza, Spain.
