ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Screening is free and includes a quick check your child's health and development. Screening is completed by an Early Childhood Professional and is tailored for your child's age, there is no pass or fail!
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Explore, Learn & Grow – Classes for K–12 Students
Basketball, Flag Football, Tennis, Soccer, Lacrosse, Skating and more for students Pre-K to 12th grade.
Refresh or gain the skills and certification necessary to apply first aid, administer CPR, use and AED, and perform lifesaving techniques.
No school means it’s time to head to the kitchen for hands-on cooking fun! Young chefs will mix, measure, create, and taste their way through exciting themed recipes while building confidence and kitchen skills along the way. Students will enjoy a fun, relaxed environment filled with creativity, teamwork, and delicious treats.
2-3:00pm Pass the Popcorn Please Movie night isn’t complete without popcorn and other sweet and salty treats! These recipes will be in high demand any day of the week! All supplies are included. On the Menu: Nacho Cheese Popcorn, Ranch Popcorn, and Unicorn Popcorn
3:30-4:30pm Spooky Snacks Get ready for spooky, Halloween-themed snacks! These fun kid-friendly and healthy snacks will have you screaming with excitement! All supplies are included. On the Menu: Fruit Monsters & Banana Ghost Pops
