ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Screening is free and includes a quick check your child's health and development. Screening is completed by an Early Childhood Professional and is tailored for your child's age, there is no pass or fail!
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Refresh or gain the skills and certification necessary to apply first aid, administer CPR, use and AED, and perform lifesaving techniques.
Due to the weather, the following programs have been adjusted or canceled for Wednesday, July 14th
- Taekwondo moved indoors to the middle school.
- All other youth outdoor programs will take frequent breaks (at least three, 5-minute breaks for every hour), participate in activities requiring minimal exertion, and will be given ample opportunities to drink water.
Due to the weather, the following programs have been adjusted or canceled for Wednesday, July 8th
- Red Ball Team Tennis has been canceled for today. No make-up. We were going to try to run it, but it rained last-minute, and the courts became too wet.
- Little League, T-Ball, Softball, and Baseball have been canceled for today. Little League and T-ball will make-up tomorrow morning, Thursday, July 9th.
- All morning Community Ed tennis (9:30, 10:10, and 11:05 am) has been canceled for today.
- Morning swim lessons at the outdoor pool (9:45 am, 10:20 am, and 10:55 am) have been canceled for today. The make-up will take place on Friday, July 10th at the regularly scheduled times.
- Soccer has been canceled for today. The make-up will take place tomorrow, Thursday, July 9th at the regularly scheduled times.
- Sand Volleyball: Due to wet courts and the potential for more rain today, sand volleyball has been canceled.
- Track & Field: Due to the wet track, and the potential for storms to pop up, track and field is canceled this evening.

- Skyhawks Flag Football Camp: Moved inside to BW Elementary.

- Grades 10 - 12 Football Camp: Practice from 8:30 - 9:15am
- 9th Grade Football Camp: Canceled (camp on 6/18 will run from 9:30 - 11am)
- All Swim Lessons: Canceled
- Skateboarding: Canceled due to slippery conditions. Make up day Tuesday, June 23rd at the regularly scheduled times.
- Summer Bash: Moving indoors to Bridgewater Elementary (401 Jefferson Parkway).
- Sand Volleyball: Moving ahead as planned. Parents should come back to the program by 1:45 pm, just in case the rain comes prior to the end of the program, and we need to shorten the practice.
- Track: Due to the potential for storms, all track has been canceled for this evening.
- Karate: Please check your email for an update from your instructor.

- All Swim Lessons: Canceled. Make-up on Friday, June 26th (due to Juneteenth)
- 9th Grade Football: Moved inside to the HS gym. Practice running from 10:30 - 11:30 am only.
- 10:10 am Tennis: Due to wet courts, tennis has been canceled.
