ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Screening is free and includes a quick check your child's health and development. Screening is completed by an Early Childhood Professional and is tailored for your child's age, there is no pass or fail!
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Are you ready to take math to the next level? Math Raiders is Northfield’s enrichment program designed for students who are excelling in mathematics and looking for an extra challenge. This bi-weekly program will bring together high-achieving 4th, 5th and 6th grade mathematicians to explore advanced concepts, tackle problem-solving strategies, and collaborate on exciting mathematical challenges beyond the regular curriculum.
Join Math Raiders and become a leader among the Northfield Raiders — where sharp minds rise and math meets mastery.
The season wraps up in March 2027 with a spirited Math Masters Competition, where students put their skills to the test with other area schools. More details about the competition to come.
Math Raiders was created as part of the statewide Math Masters program — a mathematics competition that challenges students to excel both individually and as a team.
