ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Screening is free and includes a quick check your child's health and development. Screening is completed by an Early Childhood Professional and is tailored for your child's age, there is no pass or fail!
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

This talk will take participants through the decades of Northfield's bicycling history, sharing colorful stories that explore how our town became one of the best places for cyclists in the State of Minnesota. It will also draw on local archival materials to delve into the bike battles that shaped---and continue to shape---our town's cycling landscape.
About the instructor: Jacob Hoerger is a cycling history enthusiast who has been involved in the Northfield bike community since moving to town in 2023. He is working on a book about cycling and mental health and blogs about bicycle history at fitchburgpress.substack.com.
