ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Screening is free and includes a quick check your child's health and development. Screening is completed by an Early Childhood Professional and is tailored for your child's age, there is no pass or fail!
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Explore, Learn & Grow – Classes for K–12 Students
Basketball, Flag Football, Tennis, Soccer, Lacrosse, Skating and more for students Pre-K to 12th grade.
Refresh or gain the skills and certification necessary to apply first aid, administer CPR, use and AED, and perform lifesaving techniques.
Adventure starts with the first step! Join Cross Country! Get out of your comfort zone as we work hard, make new friends, and develop a joy for running. Your 6th grader will enjoy the endorphins of the sport through activities that include trail running, endurance running, and fun games. All levels of running experience are welcome to join. The 6th grade team will also participate in a 2-3 meets throughout the season. Practice will take place after school at the middle school. Transportation to meets will need to be provided by parents. Please bring a water bottle and running shoes. Watches are encouraged.
