ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Screening is free and includes a quick check your child's health and development. Screening is completed by an Early Childhood Professional and is tailored for your child's age, there is no pass or fail!
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Explore, Learn & Grow – Classes for K–12 Students
Basketball, Flag Football, Tennis, Soccer, Lacrosse, Skating and more for students Pre-K to 12th grade.
Refresh or gain the skills and certification necessary to apply first aid, administer CPR, use and AED, and perform lifesaving techniques.
Grab your personal rolling office chair (BYOC), and battle it out against other Northfield businesses! Teams of 5 will participate in a round-robin polo tournament on wheels. Sitting in your chair, you will combine strategy, skill, and speed to move a ball down the rink floor in two, ten-minute halves, armed to score goals with our trusty polo sticks. The tournament will conclude with a Championship bracket and various team awards, including one for the best uniforms! The winning polo team will receive bragging rights, and a traveling trophy. Polo will begin at 9 am, and depending upon team participation, may run into the early afternoon. Brackets will be sent to teams on November 2nd. Registration deadline is Friday, Oct. 23rd. In lieu of registration online, a check may be sent to the Community Education office, along with your team name and first/last names and email of each player.
