Kasie has taught swimmers ages 1–13, including Waterbabies, Starfish, and Learn-to-Swim Levels 1–6. Her experience working with a wide range of ages and abilities allows her to create lessons that are both fun and effective.
Outside of the pool, Kasie is a member of the Shockwaves Water Ski Show Team in Shakopee, where she participates in show skiing performances throughout the summer. Her passion for aquatic sports and enthusiasm for teaching make her a great fit for swimmers of all skill levels.
Swim Lesson Information: $25/half hour. Children in the SAME family who are about the same swim level may take the lesson together for the cost of one. A maximum of three children are allowed in each lesson, although one or two is the recommended number for maximum productivity.
Other people may be in the pool as the private lessons take place.
There is no recommended number of lessons or schedule of lessons. Every person may choose the number of lessons desired and a schedule that works best to meet each specific need. Some families feel that 3 lessons max are sufficient, while others spend an entire summer taking private lessons. Some take lessons and random days, while others block out a couple weeks M - F, and others choose the same day each week for 4 - 8 weeks. If in doubt, schedule one or two lessons with an instructor and talk with them about what the goals are for the child/adult. Their opinion may be beneficial to how you'd like to structure private lessons this summer.
Lessons cannot be scheduled less than 24 hours out. Please cancel within 24 hours to receive a refund, or to be given the opportunity to reschedule. If extenuating circumstances occur, and you cannot make it to your scheduled lessons, please call your instructor at least 3 hours before your lesson. No shows will result in a forfeit of the lesson cost. Instructors will connect with you directly should there be a cancellation due to weather. After a cancellation, please call the Community Education office at 507.664.3649 to request a refund, or to move your canceled lesson registration to a new available lesson time.
