ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Screening is free and includes a quick check your child's health and development. Screening is completed by an Early Childhood Professional and is tailored for your child's age, there is no pass or fail!
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Summer days don't end after the sun goes down! Come on out to our new twilight girls basketball program on the outdoor courts at Spring Creek Elementary. With hoops that crank down to age-appropriate heights, this program is designed for young athletes to improve basketball skills, enjoy friendly competition, and engage in physical activity. Brynn Bahler, NHS basketball player, will be leading the program. Her passion for the game, and working with youth will make this program a slam dunk!
