ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.
Screening is free and includes a quick check your child's health and development. Screening is completed by an Early Childhood Professional and is tailored for your child's age, there is no pass or fail!
Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Explore, Learn & Grow – Classes for K–12 Students
Basketball, Flag Football, Tennis, Soccer, Lacrosse, Skating and more for students Pre-K to 12th grade.
Refresh or gain the skills and certification necessary to apply first aid, administer CPR, use and AED, and perform lifesaving techniques.
This class is the first step toward earning a driver’s license. Our comprehensive Driver’s Education program is taught by certified instructors and designed to prepare students with the knowledge they need to become safe, confident drivers.
Students 18 years old and younger are required to complete 30 hours of classroom instruction before they are eligible to take the permit test.
Registering for the Driver’s Education classroom only means your student will receive a Letter of Completion after successfully completing the 30-hour course.
This letter alone cannot be used to take the permit test at the DMV.

**We strongly recommend enrolling in the COMBO PACKAGE if you want your student to be able to test for their permit immediately after the classroom portion ends.
Driver’s Education manuals are provided for students without a school-issued device.
Class typically begins with a review, followed by chapter reading, worksheets, group activities, and chapter tests.
Students may miss up to one class day and still successfully complete the course. Make-up work will be assigned and must be completed before a Letter of Completion is issued.
If a student misses more than one day, the entire classroom course must be repeated.
