ECFE is a statewide program that provides parent/child classes to all families with children birth to kindergarten. Classes are designed for your child's development and to support you as parents and caregivers.

Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Need a break and some good conversation? Come to ECFE’s Parent-Only Coffee Hour at The Hideaway Coffee Shop! Grab a bite to eat, sip your favorite drink, and connect with other parents about the joys and challenges of raising little ones. Coffee will be provided! Pre-register to save your spot, but walk-ins are welcome!
