  • 5th Grade Tackle Football

    NEW 5th Grade Tackle Football Program We’re excited to introduce our NEW 5th Grade Tackle Football Program, designed to prepare young athletes for future success in Raider Football! This program will focus on building strong fundamentals, developing football IQ, and creating a fun, competitive environment for players to grow. Practices and games will take place twice a week (Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings) throughout September and October, making it a manageable and high-impact experience for families. A detailed schedule will be emailed in August. Athletes will learn and practice the same drills, techniques, and core concepts used by our high school program, helping them build confidence and be better prepared for middle school football. The registration cost is $150, which includes rental of a helmet, shoulder pads, and a jersey. Pants will need to be purchased separately. Registration deadline is May 10th New this year: Your 5th grade athlete may register for both flag and tackle football to maximize their football experience and development. This is a great opportunity to get your future Raider Football player started the right way...learning the game, developing skills, and having fun with teammates!

    ***No Baseball June 30 - July 2*** Through a variety of technical drill work, repetition of fundamentals, and positional skill building, players will refine the basics of hitting, throwing, running, and fielding, while developing abilities, strategies, and the experience necessary for future recreational play or competitive travel participation. This program includes coach pitch, player pitch, and the pitching machine. Tentative activities include a water and picture day, and a pitch, hit, and run competition.     Improve aspects of your game in a one-on-one or group setting. $65/individual, $55/person for a group up to 5, $45/person for a group of 6 or more. David Foley - To schedule a private lesson/s with David, choose from one of the dates listed online, and register/pay. - 14 years of collegiate coaching experience, including 8 years as an NCAA Division III head coach - Former college basketball player PLEASE NOTE! If the child you are registering is participating in a group lesson, please list the other participant name/s in the slots provided at the time of registration. If you need to register another sibling for the same slot as the current child you are registering, please do so, and they will be added to the waitlist, and your card will be charged internally. If you are registering your child for a group lesson, and another person from your group has already registered, please register and your child will be put on a waitlist, and then your card will be charged internally. There is no recommended number of lessons or schedule of lessons. Every person may choose the number of lessons desired and a schedule that works best to meet each specific need. Some families feel that 3 lessons max are sufficient, while others spend an entire year taking private lessons. If in doubt, schedule one or two lessons with the instructor and talk with them about what the goals are for the child/adult. Their opinion may be beneficial to how you'd like to structure your private lessons. Lessons cannot be scheduled less than 24 hours out. Please cancel within 24 hours to receive a refund, or to be given the opportunity to reschedule. If extenuating circumstances occur, and you cannot make it to your scheduled lessons, please call your instructor at least 3 hours before your lesson (phone number available in registration confirmation). No shows will result in a forfeit of the lesson cost.

  • Boys & Girls Flag Football

    Touchdowns, trick plays, high fives, and camaraderie are woven into the fabric of our flag football program and continue to drive strong participation from both players and coaches each year. Your child will acquire foundational training in football fundamentals, drills, and game plays. Caring college and high school players lead with passion and purpose, serving as positive role models while making a meaningful impact through their coaching. Players will practice and play games on assigned teams. All-girls team opportunities for grades 1 - 6 are available this year. Girls will compete on their own team, and depending upon numbers, will either have their own separate league, or will play against other boys or co-ed teams in the program. Girls grades 1 - 3 are currently scheduled at the all-girls timeframe on the Sechler Park softball fields (Mondays from 7 - 7:45 pm / Thursdays 7:45 - 8:30 pm). If there is not enough interest, they will be re-scheduled to play on the baseball fields against the boys/co-rec teams (Mondays 6 - 6:45 pm / Thursdays, 6:45 - 7:15 pm). Flexibility of schedule is required while we work to integrate girls flag football into our program. All team assignments, schedules, T-shirts, mouth guards, and information will be available for pick-up on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the Northfield Community Education Center (700 Lincoln Parkway). K - third grades should arrive between 6:15 - 7 pm. Fourth and fifth grades, along with all girls' team participants should arrive between 7 - 7:45 p.m. Note: Siblings playing at the same time will not intentionally be put on the same team unless requested. Due to college player coach availability, please note the start time on Mondays is different than that of the start time on Thursdays.

You will concentrate on shooting, footwork, and ball handling skills development. You will also be learning team fundamentals and applying in competitive game play. Registration also includes an opportunity to attend open gyms. 6/14, 6/21, 6/28, 7/12, 7/19, 7/26, 5:30 - 7 pm NHS Varsity High School Basketball Camp (entering grades 11&12 - invite only for younger grades): Receive instructional sessions from the high school boys basketball coaching staff and players. You will concentrate on shooting, footwork, and ball handling skills development. You will also be learning team fundamentals and applying in competitive game play. Access to open gyms on Sundays.     Challenger Sports is the leading soccer camp company in North America and our International Soccer Camp is where we channel our energy and passion for the game into a fun, yet developmental environment. Campers will receive a free soccer ball, jersey, and certificate. Bring soccer cleats, shin guards, water, snacks, and if on the full day, bring a packed lunch.

    We offer a fun and exciting cheer program for beginner, intermediate, and advanced level students. We focus on the fundamentals of cheers, chants, jumps, stunts, and dance routines. Each class learns at least one full routine and will showcase their skills for parents and at competitions. Classes are available for all ages, and no experience is necessary for Recreation Levels. Champion Force Athletics is dedicated to empowering all kids with strength, confidence, and self-esteem. All classes are taught by certified coaches.
  • Fall Football Sideline Cheer

    Come cheer on your 2026 NHS Raiders Football team! Open to all 8th to 12th graders. We will have a Informational meeting on April 2 (Thursday) from 3:30- 4:30 in the high school cafe. We will have our first practice MONDAY JULY 20 from 5 to 7pm at the high school. NOTE- Cheer practices are Mondays 5 to 7pm and Thursdays 3:30- 5:30pm and we cheer ALL football games throughout fall season which can go through end of November. - Register by August 3rd to cheer for fall. - Uniforms need to be ordered within the first week of practice, from Varsity. The price is $240-$285, depending on whether you purchase the maroon and black under armor that goes with it. You may use a long sleeve v neck maroon/black shirt instead. Coach Laurie will email you the uniform link once you register, and will explain how to enter the size info. Once sizes are entered, Laurie will email you another link for collecting the uniform fee. After you purchase the uniform, you may use it for any season you cheer for (fall and winter). If you need to purchase a uniform after the deadline, you still can, it just won't be available for the first few games, however we do have uniforms that you can borrow (different design), until yours arrives. - You will need "white cheer shoes" that can be purchased on Varsity, Amazon, Omni Cheer, Cheerzone etc. You don't need to buy new white cheer shoes if you already have them. - You will also need to purchase a warm up jacket (dont need to if you have one from a previous year).- You may purchase pom poms from Varsity as your ordering the uniform IF you want but you don't have to. We do have ones you can use for the season and give back.     If you love Raider football and can see yourself on the team in the future, you don't want to miss this camp. Skills taught include drill work, passing, catching, stance, alignment, and Northfield Raider offense and defense schemes. Players must bring football shoes, shorts or sweats, t-shirt, and mouth guard. A camp t-shirt to wear over shoulder pads will also be provided. Coaches will hand out equipment on August 4th at the Northfield Middle School shed at 9:30 am. Players may use the equipment issued at camp for school football in the fall.$1 of the registration fee goes toward the rental of the helmet and shoulder pads.     The Northfield High School Girls Soccer program invites anyone who is considering playing girls soccer at the high school or middle school this fall to participate in our annual summer camp.     This golf camp is designed to give your child the opportunity to learn the fundamentals and etiquette of the game.     Lacrosse is the fastest growing team sport in America. This camp is non-contact lacrosse, also known as soft lacrosse, and is designed for both girls and boys. Individual skills such as catching, throwing, scooping and cradling will be taught. Players will be divided by age and skill level. Sports Unlimited provides all equipment. Bring a couple of snacks.

    Step into the future of football with our exciting youth spring league! This fast-paced, minimal-contact league helps players develop football skills, build confidence, and enjoy the game in a fun, safe environment. Whether new to the sport or looking to improve, our spring season offers the perfect opportunity to grow and enjoy football. Program Details: Games are Sundays only, with practices held one hour prior each week (April 12, 19, 26). Regular Season sessions run approximately 1.5 hours each (scheduled between 1 - 7 pm - exact schedules for each grade will be determined closer to the kick-off date) *State Tournament on May 3rd, is an all-day event with divisions competing in multiple brackets within scheduled timeframes.
