Take a kid fishing and hook them for a lifetime! Join us for the thirteenth annual Introduce a Kid Fishing day where your child will not only fish, but also learn about water safety, fish habitat, fishing equipment, and more. Fishing will take place on the bank of a pond. All equipment is supplied and may be taken home after the program. An experienced and knowledgeable Cannon River Sportsmen Club member will pair up with your child to assist and teach them all the secrets of great fishing! A parent or guardian is required for each student, and is encouraged to participate (at no cost). No fishing license is required for youth or adults on this day. Children must be first timers to this program. Dinner will be provided at 5 pm and the program begins at 6 pm. Call Melissa Bernhard at 507.664.3502 or Larry Larson at 507.645.7219 with questions.
