Early Ventures Learning Center is a Minnesota Department of Human Services licensed childcare center for children ages 6 weeks until kindergarten entrance located at the Northfield Community Education Center.
We offer classes for children ages 3-5 with morning, afternoon and all-day options to attend 2,3,4 or 5 days per week. We are 4 star rated from the state of Minnesota!
Kid Ventures is a school-age care program through Northfield Public Schools Community Education. Kid Ventures operates before and after school, during the summer, and on most non-school days.

Explore, Learn & Grow – Classes for K–12 Students
Basketball, Flag Football, Tennis, Soccer, Lacrosse, Skating and more for students Pre-K to 12th grade.
Refresh or gain the skills and certification necessary to apply first aid, administer CPR, use and AED, and perform lifesaving techniques.
Classes for Middle and High School students.
Ready to hit the slopes? The Northfield Ski & Snowboard Club will travel to Welch Village for six Monday evenings throughout the winter months. Buses will load students from the middle school and high school at the end of the school day, and transport them to Welch. Buses will return to Northfield at 9:15 pm. Veteran and adult chaperones supervise on the bus and while at Welch Village. All participants must know how to ski/snowboard, or have taken appropriate lessons before the club starts in January. If these requirements are not met, participants may enroll in our separate Summit Ski Lesson program! Please note that Welch will NOT be offering single day lift tickets to school clubs, nor any single day bus buy-ons.
Program Dates: Mondays, Jan. 5, 12, 19, 26, Feb. 3, & 9 (Feb. 16 & 23 scheduled as make-up days).
Registration for the club closes on December 12.

The Northfield Ski Club will run on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day (1/19). Drop participants in their respective busing area bus area between 2:50 - 3 pm on non-school days.

OPTION 1. Transportation - 6 Trips = $189 (you have your own gear)OPTION 2. Transportation + Rental Package - 6 Trips = $439 (you need to rent gear)
Rental packages include skis, boots, poles, and helmet, OR snowboard, boots, and a helmet.
STEP 2 Purchase the Night Club Pass. All ski & snowboard club members must obtain a Welch Village pass (Night Club or unlimited), purchased directly from Welch.
Once registered through Community Ed, you will receive a link in your confirmation email on how to purchase the discounted Night Club Pass. The Night Club Pass (after 3 pm everyday) = $239 + tax. There is no pass price correction if purchased outside of the club discount.
8th grade students attending the high school parent night on 2/9 may request a one-day refund for transportation & rental by contacting Melissa (mbernhard@northfieldschools.org).
